Patsy’s Story

Patsy Wesson is a private jewelry concierge and designer who creates brilliantly crafted jewelry lines and custom pieces for couples and individuals all over the world.
Patsy Wesson Jewelry started in an unexpected place with an unexpected piece. When Patsy was a young student, she connected with a recently divorced friend who wanted to make a long-desired purchase to celebrate self love - a 2-carat marquise diamond. Patsy helped her friend find that diamond.

42 years later, she’s still sourcing and designing jewelry for her best friend, and now, for many others. In the early years, Patsy didn’t make money off curating - she did it for the love of the hunt. Word quickly spread across her community in Oklahoma, and soon people began reaching out to her for custom pieces.

Patsy realized that in order to really serve her clients, she needed more knowledge. She met with countless diamond vendors to learn the tricks of the trade, and after eight years of selling jewelry, she obtained her Graduate Gemologist degree at GIA. This formal training allows her to grade diamonds, understand the stone market, and to identify various properties of metal and how these best work for manufacturing fine jewelry.

After receiving her degree, Patsy tried to do things the old school way - opening a brick-and-mortar jewelry store. It quickly became clear that this type of shopping experience prevented her from connecting with clients in a tailored and tangible way, and after pivoting to an entirely online experience, Patsy finally had the opportunity to forge a personal relationship with her clients.

Though she didn’t originally set out to design her own jewelry collections, Patsy was asked over and over again by clients for design advice, and soon, to design a whole collection. Within 24 hours, the idea for three full collections came to her, so she took it as a sign to pursue her creativity through design, and her life as a jewelry designer began.

From the very beginning, it’s been Patsy Wesson’s mission to develop rare heirloom pieces that couples and individuals can cherish for a lifetime, and she’ll continue to do so for many years to come.
